  1. Manual Kurzweil Sp76
  2. Kurzweil Sp76 Power Supply
  3. Kurzweil Sp76 Stage Piano

Sound:The best piano sound available for under a grand. Some decent FM, Rhodes, organ, and string sounds as well.Feature:I play most of my gigs with it-a hundred a year. It's durable, and so light that I can carry piano, stand, and amp in a single trip and without help!

The biggest disappointment is the lack of bass sounds and inability to split the keyboard. I tried it as a midi controller, but it's fussy, time-consuming, not worth the hassle. The tuned and untuned strings business is a waste.Quality:It's held up better than my Kurzweil PC-2. 5 years of continuous use. The biggest potential problem is the thin wire on the adaptor.

Trip on it and the gig's over. Better get another, even though Kurzweil charges an exhorbitant price for this little sucker.Value:For $500-600 nothing is close. Sounds better than the PC2.Manufacturer Support:Good. Kurzweil doesn't have the many customers, so the rep at the site will answer personally.Overall:I've gotten my money back many times over on this one because of the heavy use I make of it. Sound:After picking up a used one I am discovering that when playing at 'stage volume' in a band setting (with a Roland amp and a monitor) it is warm sounding and the overtones blend well with the other insruments in the group. Now it also admittedly has a shorter decay compared to my Motif ES (I prefer no reverb), but what I am saying is it depends on your needs.

If you are playing solo I can see why a person needs more sustain for some pieces. With a full band, drums, bass, guitar and three horn players this suits my needs just fine.Feature:The 'Stage Piano' category leaves us with a modest interface and a better than most piano sound. Everything else is a bonus. Good value overall.

If you need a real controller, buy one. This is a Stage Piano.Ease of Use:Straightforward and if you can read you can get it to do anything you want. It has a load of information regarding effects settings and patches so if you read the manual a couple of times you can fly without it.Quality:The people who said this thing is light confuse me. Yeah, its light for a Stage Piano but I also own several other boards and this is actually a little heavier than a couple of them.

Construction is solid, keys are nice and I like the buttons personally.Value:Yes, this product is worth the cash-no problem.Manufacturer Support:Well I haven't had to call anybody and I am happy about that since I got mine used! The Wow Factor:I don't like people that say, 'It has a mystical force that draws me tooit!' This is a great board for its category-worth the money. When I make some more money I am going to upgrade to the SP88X (but still keep the SP76)Overall:Most people that write these reviews are a 'crack-up'. They want great 'organs'.

Go buy a 'dedicated organ' then! Then they want more patches. Do you know what the machine has written on it? It says everything is does on it. If you want a ton of patches spend more money on a synth with a bad piano patch. Thats life, thats how it is.

Are you also one of those people that want your whole studio in your keyboard??? Overall:There is so much to be said about the SP76. First of all, it is AWESOME.

The acoustic piano sounds are great. I have 7 digital pianos and keyboards from Yamaha, Roland and Korg and I have to say the piano sounds on this take the cake. Secondly, the feel of the SEMI weighted keys. Dont underestimate the feel of the keys.

My Roland pianos with hammer action keys are no btter than this SP76. I was surprised with how much weight is found in the keys. I love the feel.

Thirdly, You can adjust the key pressure which is great. If you are lookin for a lightweight, quality built digital piano for gigging or home enjoyment this is for you. I use mine with a Behringer 300 watt keyboard amp and it is amazing at outdoor worship concerts. Also, the piano is NOT purple. IT is black - what a relief! Back to sounds, my favorite sound for worship is Warm Electric Grand.

Sounds like you are in a big church with a Baldwin grand! The only thing I wish is that the bass side of the keyboard had more punch. But that is minor. Easy on the ears.

Easy on the pocket book. Sound:Incredible Piano samples!!

Absolutely beautiful sounds with an almost Crystal tone to them. It's an excellent piece of gear, I never expected this degree of Quality for anything in this price range. Then I ran it through Pro Tools and put some D-Verb on it and it was just stupid!!! (That's good) get one please, It's gorgeous sounding!!!Feature:It has beautiful sustain!! But mostly it's just a stage Piano, you can tweak it and use it as a pretty powerful Midi Controller, but I wouldn't say it was loaded with features but I didn't buy it fa that so I'm okay with it the way it is.Ease of Use:It's pretty to simple to get into playing it but for some of the effects it takes some looking into the manual but it's all good.

I was playing and having a quite a good time in minutes.Quality:It has a solid build. And excellent semi-weighted feel to it. Once again stellar.Value:You won't find better Piano sounds in this price in my opinion.

Kurzweil sp76 stage piano

This is too good I am amazed every time I play it by how good it sounds.Manufacturer Support:Never used it.The Wow Factor:The Sex Appeal to this machine starts after it's powered on, the sound is amazing it makes you wanna light a candle and just chill. I often wish it would play itself so I can just listen to it. The sound is so sweet, clear, yet colored with warmth, softness, and gentleness. Physically it won't blow you away but when it all comes together no other Piano will come close to doing what this does.

(Of course speaking figuratively)Overall:It's the best. Buy it, buy it, buy it. Even if you're not a Piano Player buy it so you can sample it into a MPC or something these samples are amazing!!! That's all I can say.

Manual Kurzweil Sp76

Sound:I have borrowed two of them (being in 'between 88's' so to speak -what I would normally use) and have used them on around 100 gigs in the last couple of years.Acoustic piano sound is excellent. If it were the only sound it'd be an easy 10. I gave it an 8 because the rest of the trilogy, namely Rhodes and Organ, are just not happening sounding and I haven't been able to use them like I would want and require bringing a second keyboard that has better versions of those sounds.

I'm ok with it since the piano is so good sounding, and it's loaner anyway.Feature:best feature excellent acoustic piano sound.light and easy to move.piano action medium weighted not the best, certainly not the worst.Ease of Use:Design is not for good people with poor vision on dimly lit stage. Can't see the print for the buttons, too small and poor contrast. Not easy to get rid of reverb quickly. In fact I never even figured it out.Only tried on gigs, on break in poor light, gave up trying not liking the design.Quality:Seems well made but the protruding plastic piece to help keep the thin ac power cord from falling out broke just from brushing against something when taken off stand at one gig. Always moved it in case. Otherwise seems well made.Value:great price.buy it for the piano sound and ease of movingManufacturer Support:no experience to commentThe Wow Factor:not muchOverall:see above.
